Graduated in Medicine (1984 to 1990). Lato sensu degree: Medical Residency (1991 to 1996) from University of São Paulo’s Medical School, consisting of two years in General Surgery and three years in Urology. Stricto sensu degree, PhD from University of São Paulo’s Medical School (1996 to 2001), focused in "Penile Curvature: Surgical Correction Peyronie's Disease".

Completed specializations in the United States, at Mayo Clinic and at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Pioneer of Penile Reconstruction, he is Author of the Egydio's Technique and other surgical techniques patented in the US and Europe. Specialist in the urogenital surgery field: correcting different types of penile curvature, deformities of the penis such as thinning and size loss, surgical and clinical treatment of erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, malleable or inflatable penile prosthesis implant. All treatments are associated with length and girth restauration of the penis, up to the maximum limit of the neurovascular bundle and urethra.

Over 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Paulo has performed more than 6.000 penile surgeries to recover the patient's sexual health and quality of life.

Constantly focused on the Urology and Andrology research, he became a member of International Societies, reviewer of scientific articles, author of several publications in renowned books and journals. Accredited by other doctors in the area, every year he is invited to collaborate in national and international conferences, as a visiting professor, to teach classes, lectures and live demonstrative surgeries.

He is currently the medical director of Egydio Medical Center - Advanced Treatment Center for Peyronie, Congenital Curvature and Penile Prosthesis Implant, located in São Paulo, Brazil, where he receives patients from many countries.
